Opening, saving and closing layouts

Layouts are the saved workspace of the SCHEDULE environment. All job group attributes will be saved including jobs, dependencies and annotations. When you close your layouts, SCHEDULE asks if you want to keep any changes that have yet to be saved. You have three choices: answer Yes to save the latest changes, No to lose them and close the layout or Cancel to indicate you've changed your mind and you want to keep working on the layout.

If you try to close a layout that has no name assigned to it, SCHEDULE asks if you want to save it under a new name. If you answer yes, a dialog box appears where you can type the name. SCHEDULE assigns the filename to the layout, saves the contents and settings and closes the layout.
