Setting Alert Control Options

In order to set the Job Alert Controls, click on the Controls tab from the Alert Options dialog.

The fields are used to filter alerts from only those nodes, directories or set id's designated. For instance if you only want job alerts from the node NETSERV, you would enter NETSERV in the Nodes field. To filter Job Alerts:

1. Enter the node who's jobs will send alerts in the Nodes field. Enter * for all nodes.
2. Enter the job directories who's jobs will send alerts in the Directories field. Enter \*\,\*\*\ for all directories down to the second level.
3. Enter the Set Id of the job's that will send alerts. For more on Set Id's see Job sets.

To disable all Job Alerts check the Disable all Alerts box.

To close all currently displayed Alerts, click in the Close all Alerts button.

To reset the fields to their default (shown above), click on the Reset button.
