Setting Alert Color Options

The background color of the alert dialog can be controlled to reflect the severity of the alert. The alerts are categorized as Informational, Attention possibly needed and Problem alerts. In order to customize the colars, select Colors from the Alert Options dialog.

Click on the corresponding color to be changed and select the color from the standard Windows palette. The events are classified as:

Informational Alerts

• Job submitted
• Job completes successfully

Attention may be needed

• Job is held up
• Job is restarting
• Job is delayed

A problem exists

• Job finishes with a failure code
• Job already failed
• Job is aborted

To sound a beep whenever an alert occurs check off the Make a BEEP on opening Alert box.
