Alerts can be displayed when a job event occurs that meets any of a number of conditions. In order to set the events, select Event from the Alert Options dialog.
The Events options determine what events will bring up a Alert Window. To turn on an event for alert notification, check off the corresponding box. The events are as follows:
When a job is submitted for execution
The submit event can either be done manually, through a rescheduling method, or through other job interactivity. All submission events will trigger this alert.
When a job finishes successfully
A successful completion means the job meets it's completion successfully.
When a job finishes with a failure code
A failed completion means the job does not meet it's completion successfully.
When a job is found already failed
This alert occurs when the application is started and a job has failed while the client was down.
If a job is held up
A job is currently in hold status.
If a job is restarting
A job is currently restarting because of an interruption or other event in the job stream.
If a job is delayed
The job has been delayed and has reached the threshold designated to meet this criteria.
If a job is aborted
