The bar graphs represent a ratio of the actual time of the current execution divided by the measured values that are designated in the job resource controls as described in Section 2.6.1.1.6. If the measured values are not designated or present, the average value is used to determine what percentage of the job execution has elapsed. The figure below shows an example of the runtime statistics display from a typical job run.
Note that in the I/O bar on the right, the bar has been split into a top and bottom segment. This occurs when one of the statistics runs longer than it's average value. The bar is divided in two segments to indicate the continuation of the job beyond this value.
In order to set the runtime statistics that are displayed in all job groups, select Runtime statistics from the Options menu. The form shown below will appear.
The top button labeled "Display runtime statistics" determines whether
or not any runtime statistics will be displayed on job group icons. The
"Sample time" field determines the interval between samples in seconds
that the statistics will poll the progress of the job. The three
buttons under the heading "Zoom out display" determine what statistic
is displayed when the display is zoomed out. Only one statistic may be
displayed at a time in zoom out mode. The statistic to be displayed in
zoom out mode may be chosen from the three buttons "CPU time", "Elapsed
time" and I/O count.
2.10.13 Resource/End action display
The Resource/End action display option determines how Resource lists and End action lists will be displayed. The form shown below will appear.
2.10.14 User specified colors
To add a new color to the list of colors available for job borders and

The color added may be an exact name of a color known to the system
(e.g. "red") or hexidecimal value of red-green-blue (e.g.
"#0000ffff0000" is green).
2.10.15 Save
The Save option is used to save all changes made in the Options menu. All changes will be saved to the database. In order to save the changes to the options, select Save from the Options menu. The options will be saved and will be reloaded when the MOTIF Editor/Monitor is next opened.

can be used to reset the options if changes are made that are
undesirable. In order to reload the options, select
Reload from the Options menu. The
