EnterpriseSCHEDULE features four handy Wizards that make it easy to create jobs, calendars and variables, important components of scheduling. Wizards guide the user through the required steps of creating the objects and then make the object available for use in scheduling. They are especially useful to the new user to get familiar with the basics of job interaction in EnterpriseSCHEDULE.
The four types of Wizard are:
The Job Wizard is used to create EnterpriseSCHEDULE jobs, the main component of scheduling. The job determines when a job runs, how it runs, what it does when it is running and what it does when it is completed.
The Workgroup Wizard is used to create EnterpriseSCHEDULE workgroups..Workgroups enable the distribution and balancing of workload across multiple node enterprises.
The Calendar Wizard is used to create EnterpriseSCHEDULE calendars. A EnterpriseSCHEDULE Calendar is a tool used to work in conjunction with a job to determine specific days that the job will be submitted. The Wizard walks the user through the steps required to create the calendar and mark the desired days to be used for job runs.
The Variable Wizard is used to create EnterpriseSCHEDULE variables. Variables are a tool that when used in conjunction with a stream of jobs can add a high level of logic and programmability to the job stream.
