Modifying the Submit dialog

The Submit dialog controls how a job or job stream is started and what stream data is made available.

There are 3 data items that are available to a job or to all members of a job stream for the duration of the streams execution. They are:

Stream set identify - This is a number, usually automatically assigned

Stream tag data - This is a text string, it can contain any useful data

Stream parameter - This is a text string, it can contain any useful data

The tag data field obtains it's starting value from the job field called default tag. The names Tag data and Parameter can be changed to something more suitable for the specific job stream.
