Prototypes - creating specialized jobs

A prototype job is one that performs a specific task, while hiding the complexity of that task from the end user. This is done by hiding fields from the Job's Properties page, and creating custom input fields. This creates a clear interface to the job that is tailored to it's specific purpose. Prototypes can be created by EnterpriseSCHEDULE users however many prototypes are included. For instance, there are prototypes to simplify ftp operations, copying and deleting files, printing files, and more. To load these prototypes, see Loading the Prototype jobs . The simplicity of prototype jobs makes them ideal for tasks that are repeated regularly or that occur frequently in a stream.
