Creating a new job in the Layout

Job creation involves initiating the job tool and clicking in the display screen to create as many jobs as you need for your job group. New jobs can always be added later. To create jobs in the layout window:

1. Open a new Layout by clicking File, New, Layout or by clicking on the New Layout button.
2. Either click on the Job Tool button, Click Object, Job or use the key combination ALT-J to initiate the Job Tool.
3. Left click in the Layout Window twice. New jobs Job1 and Job2 will be created.
4. Save the new Layout by clicking on File, Save As... and give the layout a name in your home directory.

Once the jobs have been created, click on the Selection Tool button to select the jobs and continue working with them.
