H Each database that the REPORT writer is capable of extracting data from H is controlled via a handler routine. The handler routine is declared on H the REPORT statement (in a report definition file) by using the SRCRTN, C SRCSHR and SRCARG parameter options. The various available handler 1 routines are described in the following sections.
H Each handler routine identifies the names and attributes of the various E fields used in each database. Only the field names identified by the A handler routine can be used in a PRINT, SELECT or SORT statement.
