14.4 Sample reports

BThe following section contains report examples, from the provided Dreport definitions, to illustrate how to use the commands to create meaningful reports.

GTo generate a report, enter the REPORT command at the prompt, and then respond to the prompts.

CFor example, to generate the SCH_USER_BRF_SUM_80 report, enter the command:

"
 =Schedule>REPORT/GENERATE SCH_USER_BRF_SUM_80/PRINT=DELETE

Fand then respond to the prompts for the output file and the selection variables:

"
2Output: (just hit RETURN for default output file) Directory: [DEMO.A] Job: * Comment: * From next start: not set To next start: now

9The first prompt is for the output file name, due to the Eout=**."Output" part of the REPORT statement of the ?provided report definition. The subsequent prompts are for the Hselection variables which are specified in the SELECT statements of the report definition.

HThe SCH_USER_BRF_SUM_80 report is then generated and printed out on the SYS$PRINT printer.
