14.3.3 Extracting a module



DAny or all report definitions can be extracted and placed in a text Dfile by using the EXTRACT/REPORT command. For example, to extract a Ggroup of the SCHEDULE report definitions and place them in a file, the following will work.

HThe output file (SCHEDULE.TXT in the above example) is an ordinary text Gfile which can be edited and re-inserted into the database again. This =file can also be used as an RDF file for a report generation.
