To use the Secure File Copy job the Secure File Copy job templates must be installed on the systems that will be using this feature. In addition the rsync utility must also be installed on those same systems.
There are two components to rsync a client and a server. The client will talk to a server running on a remote system. The various Secure File Copy jobs invoke the client component. Thus on systems where these jobs runs, install at a minimum the rsync client. The remote system will need the rsync server or daemon process running. On Unix like systems both components are installed at the same time. On Windows the two separate steps are described below.
