Drawing an initiate line

An initiate dependency indicates that when a job completes successfully, the job or jobs that are initiated are submitted for execution immediately. This is indicated in the EnterpriseSCHEDULE layout as a line with an arrow between jobs. In order to graphically create an initiate between jobs:

1. Click on the Job Connection button or select Connections from the Draw menu.
2. Click on the Job1.
3. Hold the mouse button down and drag to Job2.
4. Release the mouse button. A line from Job1 with an arrow pointing to Job2 will appear.
