Load the Demo Set

The EnterpriseSCHEDULE demos are a quick and easy way to get a look at some of the capabilities of the system. The demos basically display the flow of a job set doing very little (wait states). The transition of jobs through their scheduling states is illustrated through colorful icons changing.

In order to load one or all of the EnterpriseSCHEDULE demo sets:

Open the Schedule Assistant by choosing File > Assistant.
Click on the Demos tab in the Assistant.
Select the demo(s) from the list.
Select the folder to save the demos to by clicking the Change button and selecting a folder. The default is your home folder.
Select the View Progress check box to see the commands loading the demos.
Click Load to load the demo set into the database (or Delete to delete the layout from the database). The demo will load when the procedure completes.

The demos are as follows:

Example C	Job Controls using variables
Basic Example	Basic demo of 3 jobs
