Copy a calendar (copy/calendar or cpcal)

Copy a calendar file.

The COPY command will copy a calendar definition into another named calendar definition.

Windows/OpenVMS Format:

copy/calendar from_name to_name [/qualifiers]

UNIX/Linux Format:

cpcal from_name to_name [-qualifiers]

Qualifier Summary

/[no]log or -[no]log

/[no]confirm or -[no]confirm

/node = node_name

Examples

Windows:

Schedule> copy/calendar \dst\weekdays \sdey\wkdays /log

Copied \dst\weekdays to \sdey\wkdays

OpenVMS:

Schedule> copy/calendar [dst]weekdays [sdey]weekdays /log

Copied [dst]weekdays to [sdey]wkdays

UNIX/Linux:

Schedule> cpcal /dst/weekdays /sdey/wkdays -log

Copied /dst/weekdays to /sdey/wkdays

Qualifiers

/[no]confirm or -[no]confirm

CONFIRM requests that the user be prompted prior to any operation to verify that the selected entry is the correct one.

/hostname or -node =hostname

The qualifier specifies what node (either local or remote) you want the operation performed on.

/[no]log or -[no]log

The LOG qualifier causes each completed operation to issue a note to the user.
