Report

Reports can be created of the contents of the database as well as historical job activity. In addition to normal file operations such as cut, copy, paste, delete etc., a report's contents may be changed from the Job Explorer by choosing Properties... from the right click menu. Reports may be dragged between folders (of the same category). You may also double click on a report in the Explorer to open it in the main window.

In order to work with reports in the Job Explorer,

  1. Click on a folder
  2. Right click on the desired report.
  3. Select the operation from the drop down menu.

Edit the report definition

Cut

Cut the report in the Explorer

Copy

Copy the report in the Explorer

Paste

Paste the report to the current folder

Delete

Delete the report permanently

Rename

Rename the report

View the report's text file

In order to edit or view the text file that makes up a report, right click on the report in the Job Explorer and select Properties.... A display similar to the following will appear.

Reports can be edited to customize the output of the report.

In order to edit the report file:

  1. Click on the Edit button in the report property page.
  2. Edit the report file.
  3. Choose File>Save from the main menu bar.
